2-3 Years Ahead:
- Begin planning with Child.
- Reserve date with Synagogue.
1-2 Years Ahead:
- Begin budgeting
- Reserve facility for party
- Book entertainers
- Send “Save the Date” cards
9-12 Months Ahead:
- Block hotel rooms
- Reserve space at Synagogue for Kiddush or oneg Shabbat and room for private pictures, finalize guest list, and party theme.
- Choose Photographer.
6-9 Months Ahead:
- Communicate with Rabbi, Cantor, or Bnai Mitzvah Specialist to check on child’s progress
- Plan candle lighting ceremony.
4-6 Months Ahead:
- Order & Mail invitations.
- Choose Cake
- Plan details with florist, balloon artist, or event designer.
6-8 Weeks Ahead:
- Send invitations
- Go over Details with DJ
- Make an appointment with Christina’s for a planning meeting with your coordinator.
- Choose a menu
- Create a Floorplan
- Select your linens
- Finalize any special or important details
4 Weeks Ahead:
- Finalize and print service booklet
- Communicate customs to people not familiar with ceremony.
- Finalize floorplan and place cards
10 Days Ahead:
72 Hours Ahead:
-Drop off Day:
-Bring in favors, Alphabetized place cards, toasting glasses, guest book, card box, toys, and anything else for the reception that can be left with Christina’s to set-up for you.
- Finalized floorplan that states how many guests at each table. (If you have a split menu, we will need to know what guests are having at each table.)
- Final payment in the form of a banker’s check, money order, cash, or credit card, which does incur a 3% service fee.

- Relax & Party!!!
